Are these oil lines good enough?

I just had some oil lines made up at the local hydraulic shop. The only thing that concerns me is the Inner diameter of the lines and fittings. Take a look, will this pose a flow problem? The one on the right is the stock line. Also the guy said these lines will withstand 230 Degrees F, is this enough?

Thanks, Matt

What size is the line?

I believe I am running 1/2 inch hydraulic line on mine, with no problems.

Ok cool, I think mine is about the same. And you have had no problems with the heat?

No, no problems with heat. I didn't run a lot last season, but I had the line off this winter for re-sizing, and it looked brand new.

what are you doing for ends, using AN style adapters? How much did the lines cost ya? I talked to a hydraulics shop here in SC and the way they were figuring it it was going to be about as cheap to buy the mazdatrix SS lines. Mazdatrix has direct fit SS lines that don't require adapters for $101.

Thanks, Matt

I used like the exact same hose with exactly like you say a smaller inner diameter, it gave me a vibration sound.

It was cool for about like 1hr or so but after that thats when I started hearing like a little "zing" sound.

Just like the one you have in the pic too 3000PSI. Let me guess where the line is originally from.....an Airplane right?

The ones I had custom made were $46 or so. They reused the ends and had it done within a couple hours. Next time I go down there I'm going to see about replacing the banjo bolt with a 90 degree aeroquip fitting.. They withstand about 300 degrees and I forget how much pressure. No problems so far, they'll last for a long time. I'll get a pic later if I remember.
