Hey guys! Anyone buy anything off of T3 (Techno Toy Tuning)? They look like they have some wicked products for 1st gens (and alot other rotary vehicles)!

They were a little behind in getting them shipped due to demand, but they kept me updated and they are nice.

I just recently bought their FC camber plates to put on top of Bilstein shocks and Ground Control coilovers. I needed to get the tops of my front strut inserts turned down. They told me that over the phone when I bought them, asked for some measurements and then provided CAD drawings of exactly what needed to be modified. They were helpful over the phone when I ordered and again when I was at the machinist scratching my head... turns out I was given the wrong spacers. An hour after I hung up with them I was emailed a shipping notification and the correct spacers were on their way. Haven't tested the product yet but I've read nothing but positive things and I can say that their customer service is top notch.

I have their tension control rods and brake booster delete and love both of them. Sadly I needed new TC rods anyway thanks to my sister... Really wish I'd found them when I needed the control arms too because I like theirs way better than the RB option.

But nice, how do you like feel of the brake booster delete? I was thinking of getting one but didn't know how I would like the feel of non power assist/ manual braking!

Thanks for the feedback! So far it is indeed very positive!

Basically as it was my brake booster had a vac leak to the intake, well that and if you get a non-factory carb usually the new manifold doesn't have the bung for the booster. So I pulled the hulk of a booster and but the bracket in (which took a bit of work but I got it on there), bled the brakes and drove it. I had to adjust the brake light sensor switch a bit since it slightly changed the throw of the pedal and when I left it at stock it killed my battery without me noticing.

Simply put, the amount of force you put into the pedal is very responsive to how much your brakes stop you. I never liked the idea of having brakes on or off and felt that I wanted to determine how much brake force I'd use at any given time. It works out real nice given how light our cars are, but I'd never try it on something new given that modern car weights pretty much start at the 3000lbs mark. But yes, I LOVE it.

Bonus: Engine bay spaces out alot more than you'd think. Oh and you can always buy a different brake master, which if your factory one is a vertical bolt in like mine was I would find a side to side like for the 86 corolla. Since if you read their about section they started with an 86 corolla (go ahead and look at their ae86 parts offerings) pretty much everything they make will use or be usable with an ae86 part.

I have some wheel adapters from them, and I've been very pleased with them. Looking at getting the door cards and some other odds and ends in the near future.

Wheel adapters? Do you mean the RCAs they sell or something else? If you mean the RCAs did you have to grind your caliper bracket back a little to mount them?

So I was scrolling thought there AE86 stuff and noticed there awesome Big Brake Kit, so I messaged them wondering if such a product will ever be available for the FB and got a speedy and very promising response, they were already ahead of me lol.
They replied:
"I do have a BBK in the works for the RX7 that will use brand new hubs made from scratch and a rotor that can be unbolted. I hope to have it done within a couple of months!"
They deffinetly have me sold, great customer service it didn't even take an hour for them to respond!

I email gabe at t3 about big brake kits, fc strut swaps, 5 lug swaps, steering rack swaps using Datsun rear mounted racks, custom lca's and his response was positive about all products.

Having done most of them myself I sent t3 photos and links to builds etc. They were always very responsive and curious for part numbers used etc. I myself have allot of the products mentioned in this thread for the fb/sa

My Brother Bought brake kit, coil over kit to custom make your self and it works perfect on his 80 corolla , he is happy with them ,

I checked out t3 and I'm getting the door skins they are awesome, just what I was looking for.

Anybody know of feedback on. the upper and lower trailing arms?

I am set on the front arms but undecided about the arms. I am uncertain of the condition of the oem bushings in the rear but assume they are old and ready for replacement.

So, retaining the oem watts links, will replacing the remaining 8 joints with heim joints cause binding?

oem left and right watts links are only 60 each....

I wonder if they'll do a package deal on the suspension components? I'd kinda like to replace the whole underside of my car at once.

Reviving an old thread for additional experience from anyone who has bought more T3 suspension components over the years. I read in another thread the concern with eliminating the bushings and going with heim joints and its effect on noise and ride quality.

There's a lot of adjustability baked into the design of the control arms as an example, but the last thing I want is a rolling race car. I can't help but to want their stuff if for any reason, because its just so gorgeous.
