man, this flu is kicking my @ss. did a search on this but all i found was stuff on euro conversion. i have an 83 ltd edition fb. of what year 1st gen will tailights fit on my 83. have found numerous 79's, 84's, 81's but they are not what i have on mine. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

 

Any 81-85 will fit, all 79-80 are different, and won't fit.
I'm not sure if there's any difference between the several years (81-85) but that might be. They will fit though. Overhere, all 81-85 are the same, but of course lights have rules, so maybe US ones are different. If you mean "fit" in a way of bolting them in, then all 81-85 will be interchangeble.
