Taililght restoration

Does anybody have any info on restoring the taillights on an 85? My left one has condensation in it and was looking for a post but couldn't find anything...

Thanks!

the lens is just glued on, so to remove it the easy way is to just put the light in the oven at a low temperature. this softens the glue, and you can gently pull the lens off, and then everything is kind of accessible

I recently did this. I left my taillight out under the sun on a very hot day for a couple of hours to soften the glue and carefully pulled one corner at a time. Patience is key or you will break the lens.
Once the lens is off you can clean all the glue out, wipe the housing and colored lens (you can also remove them by pushing them out from one side, again patience), then reseal with silicone and all should be good (don't put too much silicone or it will push out of the channel and you will see it through the lens).

Looks good.
Did you tint them? They look darker.

Tinted them by paint, they look darker in pics for some reason

Very easy to see the parking and brake lights during the day. This pic shows the brake lights on a very bright sunny day.
