Tail light Gasket
Does anyone know where I can get a tail light lens gasket for a 1982 model. I checked a couple of the RX-7 parts vendors but they appear to be discontinued. Mine are starting to lift a little in the corners.

you are probably referring to the outside gasket. this is no where to be found. At least that has been my experience. If this is the one you are referring to, and you find a source....please post it.

Another option is black rope caulk that the GM dealers carry. That's all that held the tail light lens in on my Toronado Trofeo. That lens is a single piece that's near the full width of the car. I should have some left if I can find it. I haven't tried it yet but it may work for re-setting the tail light lenses.

The one that I am looking for is the subdued item between items 1 and 2 in the 1981 ~ 1985 illustration. I would think that someone has to have these. It seems like this is a common problem.
