Hello, first question here... if have searched my Haynes manual (which does not cover my model) as well as this forum for this info, so apologies if this information is present somewhere as I could not find it.

I need to know how to safely remove the taillight covers on my RX-7 so I can clean behind them.
It's a 1984 GSL, here is a couple photo's. Thanks for the help.

Sorry for double post. Adding images.

Thanks.

I did something like this, but with a heat gun;

I like the heat gun because you can see what youre warming up and work on a little bit at a time. Go around the whole thing, then again, then direct areas.

Your pics dont work so I dont really know what the problem is with yours.

Good luck, and it takes a lot of patience.

Remember, I take NO responsibility if anyhting goes wrong.

OK so if I use the heat gun method, then to re attach them after they are clean I must use some kind of adhesive?

Also, that was extremely helpful suggesting I wait and let gravity run it's course.

Not too sure why the pics wont post, I thought I was at the minimum required amount of post's but guess not.

This should help.

When searching just use the minimum amount of Word(s) to keep unwanted posts from showing up,. In this case I searched with the Word taillight.
