T2 alternator swap

Hi, anyone here done the T2 alternator swap? I'm getting one tonight and was just wandering if it's a direct swap and if you need to upgrade the main fusible link? Thanks.

Nah man.

FD alternator.. You get an extra 10-20 amps. BadAssRX-7 has done the swap. He said it's easy.

For any fusible link upgrades, I reccomend the cartrige type fusible link blocks from a mid to late 1980's 323 or 626. They are much cleaner looking and the cartriges are much more common and available at higher ratings.
