Symptoms of running rich??

Symptoms:

1. For some reason my choke doesn't work right (manual). When I pull it out, the car loses power and the rpms go down significantly.

2. It is getting 10 mpg.

sounds like it. aftermarket fuel pump? also did you adjust the floats when you rebuilt the carb? that could be part of the problem.

Jeremy;

I bought the fuel pump through Victoria British for around $130.00. It is just like OEM, very nice. I had a whale of a time with the carb rebuild. The floats are where they are supposed to be 16+- and 51+- respectively.

Its just this timing thing. I have another post asking for help with that that I just put up yesterday.

Being as this REX is my daily driver, it has been difficult for me.
