If they weren't a hundred bucks, I'd buy them.
However, I'm also trying to figure out how to get 7" headlights, AND fogs in my front air dam to BOTH be H.I.D...... inexpensively.
However, I also realize that H.I.D. and cheap don't go together.
Oh well... maybe I will get those projectors...

has ANYONE put an HID system in a first gen? Ever? Using the stock headlight doors? (I want to keep pop-ups, but HIDS)
my entire headlight system is GONE so now would be the time to upgrade

Sylvania Superstars, HID Look without the price.
Sylvania Xenarcs HID looks because it is HID. These are the Sylvania HID sealed beam conversions. They are true HID light conversion kits. The only "problem" with these conversions is they are only "high beam", so you wont have low beams without their "auxilary low beam" kit found HERE. Just thought Id share

Daniel Stern, the chap linked to above. He states the Sylvania ones are crap products made in Taiwan with poor beam patterns and light in the wrong spectrum. They give you the illusion of greater vision as the foreground is more 'white', but distance sight is compromised.

some of my friends have HID on there civics, they got them form a BMW. they only have high beams. i cant realy stand it there bright as all hell. but you cant realy see the ground in front of you to well. but you can see like 3 miles down the road lol.
I bought my h4 conversion kit here after daniel stern stopped replying to my emails. http://www.cibielights.com/

yeah, it is. He sells them for a little bit less. but its kinda hard to buy from someone when they only reply to your email once. He seemed arrogent. I guess being the lighting "Guru" has its up and downs. Dont get me wrong, he obviously knows a lot. but he wasnt friendly at all. So i said screw it and just bought them there.
Dont buy ANYTHING on ebay, referred to as a "projector style light". You will be able to see street signs 10x farther down the road, but nearly nothing from 0-30 feet in front of you, which is usually more important.
Not to mention, every set of projectors I have had on my cars, seem to burn out bulbs like there is no tomorrow.
