I had just purchased a running 12a from member ayo513, who was on here shortly for a 12a powered ae86 build project. He cancelled the project and sold the engine and transmission.
The swap should be straight forward and simple (I've done other engines and transmissions before) and will follow the fsm. Though I am considering documenting my swap, since most the swaps in the build thread are generally Turbo swaps. Would any body be interested in this or would it be useful to others? Or any secret advise any one may have to offer?

 

What are you doing? Any mods or just simply pulling a motor and putting another in its place. Documenting a swap certainly wont hurt if you describe every step and include lots of pics.

 

No mods, I simply need an engine to drive it. The engine I'm pulling out will be torn down, ported, rebuilt and go the whole 9 yards.

 

I say do it, I'd love to see.
