Suspension work

anyone know of any good shocks i could get for my car? im looking at mazdatrix just for stock replacements but if i put a TII engine in there would it be wise to just go with stock parts or should i upgrade?

Always upgrade. What is the primary useage for the car? DD, autocross, drag racing, etc.. That will help with suggestions.

well probly just a daily driver. but i wouldnt mind having a racing suspension on my car....you never know what corners i need to take at 70...<_<

Tokico HPs, also known as blues are a basic upgrade, next step is thier Illunimas, which are adjustable, after that you get into the Konis and Bilstiens. While replacing shocks, springs are recommended too.

The blues are nice, I have them on mine, and your springs are probably sagging so do get new ones, especially if your looking at doing a TII swap. You'll want that suspension good and solid.

Definately upgrade. Buy what is said above^^ and probably rb springs

everything i find for struts and springs go to 86-91 i cant find much for my 79 unless its stock replacement....do you think the blues on rx7store.com would fit? or the illumina from mazda trix?
