Suspension spring help.

I can't find any stiff suspension that can be used with the stock struts without the use of sleeves. I'm also wondering what would be good to use as front springs with a V-8 conversion (302). I was thinking something around 500lb/in, the roads here are nice and smooth, so i don't mind horrible ride quaility. I could use some help with a good spring rate though, I currently have aftermarket rear springs from the front of a car (unsure the spring rate, they were cut and free).

you know when you check out suspension websights how it says contact us? Most of them are really willing to work with you on that. How much more is that 302 gonna weigh with all the extra acssy's on it? I'd call racing beat, I'm pretty sure they'd have the answers for you.

If i can find out here insted of paying long distance fees, it'd be nice. it weighs ~460lbs (website says the newer engines like i'd be using are slightly lighter). The 12a and 13b engines weigh ~260lbs.

it cant be THAT much difference... thats insane. i know personally i plan to use the ground controll coil overs. you can get different spring rate springs, AND, if the heavier motor tucks the front too low, you can raise it up. i would contact a ground controll dealer and see what they have.
