suspension question

alright, just bought a racing beat suspension package. while im doing the work i figured now's the time to replace my shocks as well. the issue im having is that all the shocks i can find are for fb's, and i have an Sa. normally i wouldn't think there would be an issue but in the title for every fb shock sale it say;s , " (81- ...)". is that because the shocks won't work on an 79 or 80? help?

-Thanks Ryan

FB inserts can be used in SA struts with the use of spacers. You can space the insert up or space between the top of the insert and the Tokico nut.

I have done this a number of times over the years but never documented the thickness of the spacer.

Let me know if you need spacers.
