suspension problem

i tried to replace my suspension with RB springs and tokico blue shcoks, but i had trouble dissassembling the whole strut assembly
i
was able to take it sompletly off but i could not remove the spring and the shock,

i could not remove the nut, i did compress the springs,
when i rotate thetop nut the whole rod of the shock rotates with the nut,

and can someone tell me how to take off the shock, does it just slip right out of the strut and just pop the new shock right back ir or what thanks for your help

Take it to a shop, they can pop that top right off for you. Usually they wont even charge u.

Your asking how to remove the strut insert? Theres a big nut on the top of the housing, yes it comes out the top, and the new one drops in. Look in teh manual for info.

You need a impact gun and air compressor to knock off the nut, and also to tighten the nut once you got it all back together.

what he said. also, you can take a wrench, and a pair of vise grips, lock the visegrips on the top of the strut insert, and loosen it that way. but your best bet is an impact.

I wrapped a shop towel around the strut, clamped a vise grip on it, then used an impact to loosen the nut.
