suppose to be a 1 inch drop but it doesn't look it in the rear

well my car was lowered by a brand called "Suspension Specialties" that was bought from rotary performance. Has anyone ever heard of that brand before? Well it lowered it pretty good up front and i can definately tell a difference of having them on there with the tokico struts but the rear doesn't look lowered. Any suggestions of what may have happened? Are there other springs that would even it out with the front? Thanks for the help guys!

Measure the center of the wheel wells from the lip to the gound on all 4 corners and post back. Never heard of Suspension Specialties, do you have the specs on them.

i would guess it now sits 1in lower than new stock, but your old sagging springs were probably 1-1.5 low anyway.

measurements with 205/50 tires are:
FR:23 4/16th
FL:23 4/16th
RR:25
RL:24 4/16

i have also had the car on a lift today so i am not sure if that altered anything.

as far as the springs only thing i have is this: http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/sasuspension.html it's on that page...i've never heard of them either but they recommended them.

Front and rear should be about the same. Front height looks good, back is a bit high. Check and make sure the rears are seated correctly and that there isn't an extra rubber on top of the RR.

update:

i jacked the car up the rear left one was not seated correctly and it lowered it to where the front was, but the right one is still sitting up higher..it's seated properly i even unscrewed the top of the strut and retightened it when i unjacked it just for safe measures...do you guys have any suggestions at this point? I am kind of puzzled!

Your rear bushings are in a bind. You need to jack the rear up enough to put the axle on jack stands. Then loosen all your upper and lower arms. Only retighten after you have All of them loose. I have seen this give up another 1/2" to 1".

BTW, the springs you have are probably Suspension Techniques.

I agree with the possibility of a seized bushing. Happened to me, the lower arm actually snapped when I launched it at the track. The bushing on one end was stuck solid.
