"Support" bar removal?

Soooooo, my cut off wheel is looking for some action, and I'm having a helluva time fitting my intercooler in front of my radiator. So I was wondering if ayone had any thoughts on cutting out that bar that runs across the front of the car just in front of the oil cooler/lower radiator. It doesn't look like a structural component, but I figured wityh the installation of Billy's subframe and rack kit and I also have a pretty substantial piece of angle iron welded to the bumper support bars for my airdam, i thought I could remove this and place my intercooler where I want it. Worst case i could weld up another rod a few inches fwd I guess, but is it really needed?

I figured everybody knows what I'm talking about, but I can snap some pics one I get home if need be.

There is a current thread about this, except his is bent from a tow truck driver, you need it. Go make some brackets so you can cut some metal up.

It's only important if you like the front wheels to point in more or less the same direction most of the time.

It also makes a great place to mount an FC oil cooler......

so I was looking and measuring today and i'm thinking I can weld a piece of roll bar tubing between the mounts for the sway bar. I really don't think I'll need it as mentioned before as it seems that it's main purpose is to add rigidity for the sway bar and tension rods. With the install of the Re-Speed kit not only does it stiffen the subframe, but it takes the force of the tension rods away and moves it behind the engine. But, better to be safe than sorry.... going to weld in the tubing.
