Stupid carb rebuild question...gaskets.

First time rebuilder here, so bear with me. (Searched, also, but couldn't find my specific question) Got me a carb kit and in the process of reassembling. Waiting on new floats as one of mine was completely shattered At least it explains why I was so down on power.

Anyway, it looks like I have 2 gaskets for mounting the Air Horn to the Main Body, and 2 gaskets for mounting the carb to the manifold. Is that how they are supposed to be? The Throttle Body to Manifold gaskets appear to be identical, but the Air Horn to Main Body gaskets are slightly different.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

well the air horn gaskets will be different just match up with the holes one has to be different!!!
depends on what year the carb was myn was a 83 and i had brought a generic carb kit so i ended up having to punch some holes for the throttle body ya only need one gasket in between each part and from what iv reead dont replace any cruch aluminum washers as there beter than the paper gasget ones hope this helps

The reason there's two for the throttle body is so you can have one either side of the phenolic spacer.

I don't know why they send the carb to mani gaskets. If you have the phenolic spacer that has vacuum ports, do not use the gaskets, you will block the ways and none of the vacuum devices that pass through there will work.

Match the air horn to carb body gasket with the old one.
