Struts

I have a 1980 RX 7. I needed to replace the front struts. I got some KYB 363003 replacement cartridges but they are too long and I can tread the lock nut back in place. Any suggestions, anyone has run into this situation...any suggestions...Thanks in advance....Harry

you're sure that's the insert you have? does it have the thing at the bottom you can cut to make it fit?

You should find some "extensions" molded on the bottom of the struts, a hacksaw is used to cut them of to fit your application.
