StreetPort Q's

Hey all. When running a Streetported motor, with a weber 45dcoe, full RB exhaust, what is a common rear wheel hp estimate? Also, what do most people with a set-up similar to this, run for a 1/4 mile? The reson i am asking is, i am looking for more power. If a streetported motor is worth 1,500.00 i am going to order one this week. I would just leike to know how everyone feels about it! Thanks for your time all!

a good 12a streetport can make around 230 HP mark, 13b can make around 270 HP. That's of course if done professionaly.

These sort of numbers can only be attained with big ports that have had heaps of time spent porting and shaping the entire port right through to the runner entry. This type of work costs money and is not the sort of port an average customer would get when he goes and asks for a streetport. You'd also need a near open exhaust and better intake setup.

A more typical figure for the setup RoTARY-ReX was asking about would be around 180-200hp at the engine and 14 second quarters.
