Stop me before I screw-up again

Does the oil fill tube unscrew? Or more to the point does it go back together?
85 12a engine

I’m in the midst of spring-cleaning, would like to take it off and paint it.

Twist and pull works for me. They are pressed in, and you just use a soft mallet or rubber hammer to get it back in.

Did any body notice the 5 similar thread at the bottom have absolutely nothing to do with this question?

It's funny how the most advanced engine tech they smashed a tube into the block lol. Japanese way of solving problems. Just makes it hard to clean snot.

those 5 threads are based on the title of the thread... and your's isn't the most descriptive. Anywho, check out pineapple racing's videos www.rebuildingrotaryengines.com or something along those lines. He shows you how to take one off when he's prepping it for lapping.

I tried to take one of mine off and decided it was not worth the effort
