They knew what they were after,,man . if the shop has a fence around it, look at the owner, or someone close.
a tow truck, or a tow bar. but no trailers used.. They knew the car didn't run,,now the people who knew that
are the employee's, thier friends they told, they knew
enough to have to tow the car. who's acting 'funny' at the shop ?? some how find out, the employee's home address's and cruise by and take a peek around there area's.. I'd be relentless with the footwork and exhuast every resourse down to the bone.. that's just me though. but if it's no biggie to you, then forget everything i've said. still,,,,that blows man,, sorry to hear that.

Well, I drove around through neighborhoods in Woodinville/Kingsgate for a while looking for it. I even peeked under a few tarps that were kinda "suspiscious" looking (I know, I shouldnt have), and I found a few Datsun Z cars, but no white FB, sorry man . I'll keep my eyes open though for ya .

I'm sorry to hear that.

Someone triggered my alarm at work today. My boss looked out the door in time to see the guy running off down the street.

I guess we all need to be aware that these cars are a target, because they're cool.

Sorry, man.

see i know its all up to me, if you guys remember that thread about gotboosdt7 finding a local guys 50K fd in a backyard of a local club member house. im going to have him as a observer when i go to interview people. everybody at that shop is going to get interview and asked for there house adress. if they dont understand what im going through and what ive lost then they are hiding something. EVERYBODY at that shop will be questioned to the best of my ability. and about the insurance since the car was in the shops possesion i will get money back for the mods, but i have to come up with all those recipts and ****. pita

As an aside, the garage owner is legally considered a "Bailee For Reward" and is financially responsible for any damage/theft notwithstanding the insurance status of the car.

Because his garage owner's insurance will cover it and it makes him look bad, kick and scream for the true amount you had invested in the car - and be ready to show receipts. Don't get greedy, but do NOT be a pushover.

dude,
sorry for the loss. believe me, i understand what you're going through. my very first car got stolen (an '82 with leather and backseat) ... i had just put on Rotary Engineering exhaust and some other stuff on it. like you, they towed it or pushed it away. trust me ... i know!

however, you're at a bit of an advantage because it is obviously an inside job and you have a pretty finite pool of suspects. handle the insurance business FIRST and FOREMOST!!! then after it's all settled, get a group of your peeplez and cripple somebody in that shop. if the first person you hit is not the perp, then chances are he will be able to tell you who is ...
****, it would be worth the plane ride for me, if you need help!!!!
