Question Is this a stock cat?

We just removed the cat on our '82 GSL and it looks a bit rough. The welds are pretty shotty and it doesn't look original. I also though there were multiple cats??

No way. My '82 has two cats. The main cat has flanges and bolts together, no ugly welding.
