stock 12a convert to turbo

hi im just starting to piece together my 12a turbo setup on my stock 12a. i have read nearly every thread on the process and every set up has some similarities and many differences.

first of all i have collected these parts ---

12a turbo exhaust manifold
intake manifold for weber 45doce
weber 45 doce
plenum for weber
t04 turbo
50mm wastegate
braided oil feed lines for turbo
all necessary ic piping
bar and fin fmic
12at dizzy
dump pipe
holley blue fuel pump and regulator
boost controller

just wondering if there is anything else i have missed

also does anyone know exactly what size jets and all that jazz i need for the blowthrough setup on the carb from what i have read no one has said any specifics for such a setup.

so yeah any info would be awesome thanks.

cheers

Send the carb to rotary shack to get boost prepped properly. This will be money well spent! Next, ditch the 12at dizzy and do a locked dizzy.

From what I understand... that holley blue will not live up to the job, you also need a boost reference fuel pressure regulator and larger fuel lines.

is there a specific reason as to why you want to go carby turbo setup??

I wouldve thought it would be easier to go injection.

injection perfection sell a IDA style intake with 4 injector mounts, bolts straight onto a webber manifold. Webber plenum bolts on top of that.

Then get a microtech MTX8 with coils and a series 4 turbo CAS.

Easy to tune, easy to tune on boost, can always alter the settings depending on fuel type etc, better economy due to finer tuning throuought the rev range etc etc

OR a company called ASK make an adapter plate to fit a series 4 /5 intake onto the 12A. Thats what im running on my 12A turbo. Just seems like a waste of all that good gear you have to chuck a carby on it.

Let the flamage commence

1 simple word.... money...

You can be up and running using a carb including everything you need to go turbo...

for less than the price of going microtech...

but if money wasnt an issue we would all have a brand new 911 turbo (and a 7)...

yeah right on rx7learner money is the major factor, if i had the money i would go and drop a 20B in it...

i will get a better fuel pump for the job and rising rate fuel regulator. thanks for that.

also i wont lock my dizzy as i am oly planing on running a low boost setup. what do you recon would be the max boost for the dizzy as it is?
