still having problems with my rear end (and no i donot mean constapation)

i was having what i thought was a lot of wheel play. felt almost like wheel hop at low rpms. i just replaced the bearings, collars, and oil seals on the rear axels and things are a little better (there was an excessive amount of play in one of the bearings that i replaced). now the problem usually only persists when i am light on the throtle (or not at all) under 3k (worse in 4th and 5th gear).

it feels like the rear end is shaking around, but i am not sure if it is side to side or forward and backwards.

any ideas on what else could be causing this?

the suspension setup that i am running is g-force engineering's tri-link setup and pan hard bar, along with a miata type 1 torsen diff and 5.12 rear end gears.

any help would be greatly appreciated, as i would like to figure this out before i break down and just bring it into a shop and say "fix it"...
