Question sticky question,,,,

Hi all, I have been trying to start Max (85GSL), for 3 hours today, my question is, should i be able to see the shutter valve thru the primaries, it seems to be in the closed position and i dont know how to unstick it,,,i have plugged up the hose several months ago,,,also my plugs keep getting wet and i have a fuel shut off switch in the off position,,,how are they gettin wet??/OK, I had two questions,,,,,thanks,,,,,,

ok, i did the search and it seems that the shutter must be in the vertical position if we disable it, how do i turn it to the verticle position,,,i tried pushing it open from inside the carb but it wont budge.....???

Yes, it has to be vertical when you defeat it. If yours is stuck closed then I have no idea on how you would get it unstuck. You might be able to use a long rod or something to push it open, but thats kinda risky.
