Thumbs up Sterling & other gurus, guess what?

Guess what? I finally fixed it. I changed the AP diaphrm., replaced the gasket between the top and halves, and plugged the small vac. line to the shutter valve. I finished at 3:00 A.M. (an hour ago), and just had to put up a thead to let everyone know,.

Now who hinks they know which one of the three was the actuallly the remedy. I dont have a clue, but right now it deosn't really matter.

Congrats. But, what was the purpose of plugging the small vac line?

...You replaced the AP diaphragm, or the secondary vacuum box diaphragm?

i don't think sterling considers himself a guru. from what i gather, he's just a guy who wanted to do a lot of shiznit on his 7 and took the time to look up all kinds of crap and do it. guru or not, my hats off to anyone who has that kind o' love for their 7!
