By the way, I've seen a few Hitachi emblems on Nikki carbs. They're usually painted on some of the components. I think you stated that Hitachi manufactured the Nikki carbs, right? If so, what should I call the 13B carbs with a nice raised Hitachi emblem right on the AP housing? Even Rob Golden calls tham Hitachi. Just curious as the tone of your post suggests that maybe 'Hitachi' isn't quite the right thing to call these rare 13B carbs. What's your take on the naming convention?
