I have a factory-looking Graphic EQ that I presume works and I want to include it in the stereo setup I'm installing Tuesday. It doesn't correspond to the one in the FSM. It has seven wires. Blck, red, blue, white, green, yellow, brown. They're all shielded. Does anybody know what the wiring setup might be?

It's the same Mazda font and it is the same orange and I got it from herblenny but he's an FD guy now.

Any help? I'm still looking in some of the other Fsms.

 

All the other Graphic EQs have an IN and an OUT plug but this just has the seven wires all coming out of a common grouping.

Maybe it is what's on page 15-65 of the S3 FSM. But I still don't know what wires are what color because I don't have the connector.

 

Are you putting in an aftermarket headunit in? If so, the EQ will not work. They don't do much anyway, no need for them anymore today's headunits have most of that stuff built in.

 

I am putting together a ganky car audio setup. I want to go from my IPod to the EQ to a Rockford Fosgate amp to my speakers. I don't know if the EQ will work at all but it would be a nice touch IMO.
