ON Steering Hub suggestions?

I have an old Personal steering wheel from a Fiat my dad drove in the 70s that I would love to put on my SA.

I understand that all SA's, FB's, FC's and some Miatas share the same steering spline and that my wheel one of the two standard 6 bolt patterns that wheels use (2.75" & 2.875", myself being the later).

My question is, does anybody have any suggestions on which hub to buy?
I took a glance at eBay and see tons of cheap adapters, some with quick release, some without.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Kam

I bought a cheap eBay hub for an old personal wheel. It's not as nice as the nice ones, but it works.

I got a Momo from ltbmotorsports

Not overly expensive and very good quality.

Sorry I guess I should have clarified.

Are all SAs, FBs, FCs and Miata's on the same spline pattern?

This won't be the first time I've been burned by the "Oh, SA's are different" curse.

Cheers,
Kam

They should be, I have a stock rx3 wheel that has been used in an SA, and an FB.

Unless it was an aftermarket wheel made specifically for the car, which is unlikely. So yes it probably has some kind of aftermarket hub on there. There are probably exceptions, but most aftermarket hubs have one of two possible bolt patterns. One that fits momo/grant etc and the other that fits Sparco. At least I believe that's how it's split, I can't remember if Sparco was the odd pattern, or if it was Nardi...

Anyway, yes SA and FB should all be the same, and I think FC's share the same spline size, although the Momo hub is a different part number.... Confusing isn't it?

Just to add to 82ta's response it's all RX-7's through the FD chasis and most early miata. I have seen fc's running late fb wheels and fd factory steering wheels so, those adapters SHOULD work too. I have an fc adapter I got from Summit Racing for $20 for an old style Grant 3 spoke.

Sent using RX7Club for Android.
