Starting assist question
Hi guys,
got a quick question for you.
I'm working now on my new 84 gs and noticed that it does not have starting assist. It has the sub-zero reservoir but the actual motor and pully that connects to the carb are not there.
I propably wont be doing much winter driving so am wondering if i should just leave it out all completely or swap it in from my parts car.
I will propably take out the sub-zero reservoir, since this is a summer car anyways, just want to get your opinion on the metter.

The sub zero assist and hot start assist are two separate entities. Neither one is critical, or even useful (in my opinion). I pulled mine out years ago, and haven't regretted it. Nothing but dead weight. Hope this helps...
