GA starter question

I have a 12a turbo (OEM) that needs a starter. I live in the US. What starter does this car need? Will the 1983 starter work with that flywheel?

Not familiar with the 12at but I'm about 95%sure they are exactly the same when it comes to the starter

i'm going to say that the starter probably isn't any different than the n/a one. take urs with u to compare it with the one for n/a.

The problem is all of the mix matching of the years invovled on this car. 1979 tub and tranny, OEM 12at from 83-85, VW koni strut inserts, dirt track koni rear shocks, GSL rear axle, and more.

mix matching isnt an issue. just buy a starter for a manual fb. pick a year
