starter problem !!!

starter problem !!!

ok, so heres the problem.
My starter just goes "click click click" when im trying to start.
any things to check ??

I`ve had the instroke relay cap off for painting, can water in the relay be the cause ??

Sooooo typical, restored the car the last couple of months, and 4days before a car show the engine gives me problems !

Clicking is usually due to either low voltage to the starter caused by low battery voltage, loose wiring or corroded wiring. Also the solenoid contacts may be going bad. Try bypassing
the solenoid after you check all other problems and if it starts the solenoid is bad. If you bang on the starter and it starts, the brushes are bad. rx7doctor

probably a low battery as rx7doctor said...basically it sounds like your not gettin enough juice to the solenoid...so it could be the connections, the wires, or just plain a low battery

the solenoid could also be bad but im doubting the actual starter is bad
