started new project to be completed 9/1/05

started my new project 82 gsl with a rb25det (skyline 2.5L)
I started to remove the motor and tranny this afternoon. so if any one needs parts PM me. The fb only had 74k on the car.

I have a ford 9" with ladderbars 26" slicks. the motor will have over 550rwhp t66 turbo. I plan on getting into the 9's

yea thats gonna be fabrication heaven. Should be badass as hell when its done though. that engine is from a R32 right? now if you could put the ATTESSA (whatever the letters are) AWD system in the Fb *that* would rule.

yeah the AWD would be nice but he would need the RB26DETT or at least the RB26DETT's transmission, drivline exc. That would be a big hassle. exspecially making it fit, also how much was the engine and were did you get it.

I allready did a rb20det in a 240 last winter that was easy this is going to be alot harder. I hope to have the motor in about 1 month. I took out the 12a today and from frame rail to frame rail is wider than the 240 by 1 inch and from firewall to front beam support is about the same. The first problem I see is going to be the front swaybar is going to be cut and remade.

Sounds like an interesting project. I`d like to see how it goes, and naturally, some pics.
RBs are pretty hoss, but hella expensive I hear, even here in Japan. Good luck!
BTW, sent you a PM
