Got a quote on brake parts: 400$ +machining of rotors

I've drained the coolant and sent the nikki off to be rebuilt. When it comes back I'm going to try and get the engine running so that I can do a proper coolant system flush.

I want to drain the gas tank fully, but it turns out I have that problem in the electrical system again where I can turn the key and nothing happens (the battery is from my daily driver) I can't drain the tank w/o the fuel pump working because there's no drain plug on my tank.

But other than Brakes, Carb, Coolant and the Fuel Tank (which btw needs to be replaced), she should be ready to rock.. or at least lead me to the remaining, hopefully smaller problems.

Get under the car and run a wire from the positive battery cable to the fuel pump +. Ground the - fuel pump. That'll run the fuel pump whenever you want to!

Works faster if you hook up a battery charger to the battery while doing this. And prevents battery drain too.... Gasoline makes a GREAT weed killer!
