Staggered rims on a GSL-SE

Allright help me out guys, I just about spent an hour reading and reading, and maybe I cant search properly, but I need to know exactly what I would have to do put some rims with some lip on my Gsl-se. I am thinking nothing larger than a 17 and nothing smaller than a 15" rim. I would like to get the biggest lip I could under my fenders. I understand I have a high off set, but I also read some where here that some one had +1 off set in the front and +3 offset in the rear, and the rear rubbed but at a mininmal.
They had pics but they were not showing.
Would back spacing be an issue with the lower off sets for the se. If any one has picks please post I would love to see..
IN the market for rims all help is appreciated.
Thanks
Cruz

If you are running a SE you will want a 7" & 8" @ 35mm offset.

I have heard that a 15mm offset can be used on our SE's.
I have not tried it yet BUT really want to as I would love to have some rims that have a lip on my SE as well.

Just remember to factor in the width of the rim w/ the offset.
