Springs!!!!

Hello All,

I am looking to replace the springs on my FB....I am pretty sure what is on there now is stock...I am looking to lower 1 one inch and get a bit of a former ride for performance...I do not want a rate box with real stiff 'racing' type springs ...Ya know, just a bit more but not a full on are set-up

I am looking at Eibach and Racing Beat.
the Eibach is a more firm spring from what I could learn. Can I get any feedback from anyone that has experience with either of these...
I am leaning towards the Racing Beat springs as they are a bit softer than the Eibach with still being more form that a stocker...hopefully they ride real nice...lol...

any input is really appreciated.

thx

The Racing beats are softer in the front, but stiffer in the rear. I have them with some KYB Gr2 struts and like them thus far. Others seem to not like them on GR2's, but they have held up fine for me over the past 10k miles/3 years. If I could, I would look into finding front Eibachs with rear Racing beat, but the RB are fine all the way around. My car dropped about half an inch to an inch in the front. The rear dropped a little more.

Mazdatrix has spring rates on the site.

I have B&G On my protege. They ride good. They are stiffer than most anything else I could find. No input for the FB. Though I may be willing to buy a set to try. I like those numbers. 1.4 inches front and rear!

How are KYB's a downgrade?

Either way, they were better than old worn out parts and it was during the where in the world is Tokico fiasco.
