Spoiler repair

My front spoiler is cracked and needs repaired Fiberglas won't stick. Its an older wrap around style wih ports for driving lights and duct tape just isn't doing it. Ideas anyone?

Is it a plastic (that causes fiberglass not to stick)?
Have you scuffed the area you wish to glass well?
Did you use epoxy or polyester to try the bond?

Get a sheet of abs plastic from Lowes or somwhere. Cut a piece to fit behind the dam, then use pop rivets to secure it. Not real pretty, but probably would be effective. You could always bondo and paint over the rivets if you are concerned about looks...
