Do GSL-SE's sit on the same front spindles as an 81 rx-7. I am wondering because i am getting an LSD rear end from a SE and was wondering how much i will have to change to have the same bolt pattern an the front and the rear.

No.. The front spindles are not the same... Neither is your driveshaft yoke on the differential.

Your best bet is to upgrade to the SE driveshaft and get the front suspension (Whole strut assembly) from the SE as well...

Alternatively, you can get any model 84+'s front suspension as the spindles are the same and use the SE wheel bearing and rotor/hub...

Another thing to keep in mind is that the SE's brakes are larger... While this is a good thing, you'll need the brake equipment as well... Not sure about the master cylinder or proportioning valve, but the calipers are a defenate yes... If you currently have a drum brake model, get the master cylinder and proportioning valve, as those are defenately different from the drum brake models...

Good luck with the swap.
