Spindle nut source?

Just did a Big Brake Upgrade on my SA. Using the 85 struts. These did not come with spindle nuts/washers. Does anyone know the thread pitch and size of these nuts? So far I'm having no luck ordering them.

The TII nut is too large and the SA is too small.

Thanks

The thrust washers are likely a Mazda-only item, as they are hardened & keyed. Good luck with your search!

Grabbed the PN's off Atkins rotary. (they wanted $20 just for shipping).

Then ordered from another company for 12.95 shipped.

0662-33-042 - Nut
1011-33-043 - Washer

Hope it's the right ones!

I believe these may cross ref. to miata parts? The pics of the nuts/washers had a miata source pic/link anyway.

briefly, the first 4 digits of the Mazda part number tells you the original application, 1011 is Rx4 ish, and 0662 is something much older. however its a simple washer, and things like that sometimes don't change for long periods of time. best example is the big 54mm nut on the back of the rotary, its the same from the 110 cosmo, all the way to the last Rx8.

33 is the section, it happens to be the front axle/brakes, and the last 3 tell you want the actual part is, 33-042 is usually an axle nut.

these parts will not cross to a miata, the miata uses a big stake nut with a built in washer.

Thanks for that. Guessing they had a universal spindle nut picture they were using for display purposes then.
