Speedo Problems

My speedometer indicates 220km/h at about 7-10 km/h.

Any thoughts? Is the speedo busted, and needs to be replaced, or are there any easier fixes?

Hey, I pulled out of a side street the other day and accelarated pretty hard upto about 90kph. Once I hit 80ish the speedo jumped suddenly to 200kph and then came down to 160kph and stayed there until I stopped at the next lights. After that it went back to normal and hasn't done it since.

Also, I sometimes get a quiet noise coming from behind the instruments which could be something.

Sorry to push in on your thread but maybe we have a similar problem.

Thanks
Christian.
