Speaking of tires, did I screw up?

It's true that not all tires with the same width rating are the same width, but it's going to be very close. The "205" or "185" is a measure of the widest part of the cross section of the tire when mounted to a wheel at some set pressure. It's not a measure of the tread width. So when the tire is mounted to the wheel, any 205 shoud be bretty consistant with any other 205 for a certain tire pressure and wheel width.
