sparco r100 seat
these are the cheapest sparco seats you can buy. Does anyone know if they fit in a first get? I tried searching the site, and google.. Any help at all would be appreciated GREATLY. A pic would be appreciated evern GREATLY-ER.
not sure about the exact fit, but I can give some info. Im planning on installing racing seats in my first gen. you will likely need the factory sliders and then modify them or the new seat to make them fit. the drivers side is pretty simple and universal sliders wouldnt be too difficult, but the passenger side is weird on the inside slider due to the floor being a odd shape to fit the exhaust system. hope this helps.
not sure if it matters, but I have a "S" with the really shitty seats, and the sliders are super simple, not sure on other models.

im not too much worried about the mounting of the seats as much as i am them actually fitting in a car. It looks like the r100 is one of the more narrow seats sparco sells. The reason im asking is becaue my buddy has some seats in his miata and the upper bolsters wont let the seat recline at all. I couldnt even drive his car if i wanted to... the sholder width is 19.9" which seems kind of on the smaller side when compairing all of thier other seats. Im thinking they should fit, but just wanted to see if anyone had a definite answer. Thanks for the tip on the passenger side!

the FB has a lot of room for seats

I don't think the FB has THAT much room for seats. I bought these that were installed in a FC with no issues. Gorgious seats.
Didn't fit at all on the passenger side with the FC or FB rails. Sat way too high, when folding forward it hit the upper side where the door closes, and the side bolster hit the door when closed and it was pushed all the way into the console and could only slide forward about 2 inches. The outside rail would have needed a spacer of about 2" as well to mount the seet straight since it's not beveled on the inside to fit that funky rail position.
I sat in it, in straight position and it was up about 3" from the stock FB GSL seats.
A no go. Selling these and continuing my quest for black leather TII seats.

those look nice. so they fit fine on the drivers side? The drivers side is really all that im worried about, I'll have a slider and stuff for it. The passenger i dont care much about. It probably wont have a slider and ill bolt it to the floor. As long a it doesnt hit anything over there im fine with that. I just need to be able to easily fold it up to get to the battery in the bin.
I honestly didn't even bother fitting the drivers side. I started with the passenger side just because of how the car was parked. When it was that far off I was so depressed I just canned it.
If you bolted it to the floor you should be fine on the drivers side.

That is all that i am really worried about. Making brackets and lowering the seat if i need to isnt a problem at all. I was just worried about them not being able to recline due to them hitting the doors or body like in my buddies miata. Thank you guys for the help.
