Does anybody know where a vacuum hose is really hard to get to under the carb? Because i still cant find the leak and I dont see why a plugged vacuum hose would be just chillin on top of my engine that was never there before.

Did you blow out the actual line to the tank?

Where exactly was that plugged vacuum line? If it was laying on top of the engine between the ratsnest and the intake manifold, it could be the vacuum line for the shutter valve.

Check the hose to see if there are any cracks in it and replace the hose if there is, if not put the line back on where it is supposed to go. Could be an underlying issue.

No just the valve, I don't have a jack that fits under my car at my house to disconnect things under the car.

I think he means take the vavle off the return line at the carb and blow some compressed air into the line going back to the fuel tank. Not alot, but you should hear bubbling inside the tank if the line is free and clear of debris.

Also did you find the spot on the shutter vavle i was talking about?

Actually I did check the hoses on the shutter valve a while ago I just forgot and they're there and good, but I don't know if the shutter valve is **** itself yet.

Can you post a few pics of the carb and emissions crap? A few good shots and maybe someone might see something you dont?

That actually makes a lot of sense. This could be a faulty shutter valve. The line leading to it may have popped off, but the issues you describe sound a lot like those associated with a stuck valve (closed)

Uploading pictures is a bitch and a half on this site. It will like flip them and only send random ones so I'll try my best. I was in a rush so they are not so perfect.
