somebody have a pic of the mixture screw?

like the title say, somebdoy can help me out and show me were the mixture screw on the 12a carbs are at?. i search a couple of threads athat had pics on them but the pics are not there. ill apreciate it. thanks

i thought that was the idle mixture screw? i was reading and it say is behind a silver cap but i cant find itin my friend carb.

I think(not positive) that only califonia models have those caps

Ya, I think that is for california models, the idle screw is over to the right a bit. What year do you have? I think but could be wrong, that 79' and 80's they have there screws being one on top of eachother. Hope this helps.

True, but most of these 20 year old carbs have had the caps removed at some point. Yes thats the idle mixture screw.

but still i cant find any screw or silver cap on my friends car. he have a 85 gsl the carb is a N249 non cali car, maibe it helps were it could be?

Well RotaryRyan's pic is where it is. You dont see anything in that area?

Maybe this will help. The carb on my car *has* the cap on the set screw, but I can't take a pic because my camera batteries just died.

The screw in the center is the idle mix screw. It's immediately below a nipple. See, I bet I caught your attention with "nipple". The screw way to the right is the idle speed setter.
