Arrow Some questions about interchanging parts

OK so heres the deal, I have a 1984 Rx7. I am taking a 12a out of a Rx2 to putting it in the rx7. The rx2 has a racing beat exhaust system, will this system fit the rx7? I dont see an rx2 system listed on there site so Im thinking it might be the full rx7 unit.

I also have an aluminum flywheel from a 1991 n/a rx7. Im pretty sure the flywheel itself will fit on the 12a but how can i be sure what year the 12a is so i can buy the appropriate rear counterweight? The owner told me the engine is from a RX7 but he wasnt sure which year.

Thanks in advance.

the RB exhaust should be swappable to any other 12a, the SA's have a different mounting flange I think, but the rest are interchangeable. Someone more knowledgeable will have to address the flywheel issue, I think it would "go on" the motor, but not sure if you could "balance it". The 13b assembly is a different weight etc. I believe. Better to get an answer from someone else on this though.

the system was probably custom made for the rx2. u'll probably have to add a section of pipe to lengthen it for the rx7. or maybe even have to shorten it. seriously doubt it'll be an exact fit.

Ahh, thanks. Ill probably just see how it lines up and then let someone trim the center section to fit if thats the case.
