some DCD questions...

So I got my hands on a Weber DCD but have some specific questions about it.

A piece on the carb has broken off. Can anyone tell me what it's for and is there a fix or should I return it?

I noticed there are 2 different numbers on the carbs, is this normal or should both of them be the same?

Thanks for the help

A pic of the side view would show better, but I believe that is the mount for the cold start / choke where the cable mounts, is an issue if you live where it is very cold and plan to drive it on the street.

I'm not totally sure, but I do not believe the different numbers on the carb bodies would be an issue. I have several of these and I will look to see if I have different numbers. The important thing to me is that they are all Italian Webers and not the Spanish versions, which in my experience are not the same quality as the Italian made carbs.

Thanks for the info. I have a replacement coming so it should not be an issue anymore. They are the italian made carbs so that's good. I never knew they made spanish carbs, then again I never did the carb mod before.
