Just curious what you guys are running and what your set up's are. I ran this with no rear sway bar, a front bar, stock worn out suspension, and most importantly 185/60/14 all season tires.

60' 1.938
E.T. 8.716
MPH 80.813

I also had some clutch issues which made my clutch start slipping at the top of 3rd gear. I think I may have a leaking rear main seal.

Yeah, that's with the 302. Although it's got some problems with it. Not surprising since it's my first motor rebuild. I'll probably tear into it again in a few weeks and replace some stuff. I was just wondering what kind of 60' times people were running with stock suspension.

My friend in his Mustang ran a 1.92 and removed his front bar and was cutting 1.83's all night long. I think if I ever take it to a drag strip again I'll give that a shot and see what happens.

Not bad. 8.7 @ 80mph would translate to about a low-mid 12sec 1/4 wouldn't it?

Well I've only been drag racing twice, the car is used for AutoX. I have Koni's, RB springs, poly bushings, stock front sway bar and no rear bar, a slightly modded Nikki, Rb header(ran open headers that night ) worn out GSL rearend and some borrowed 15" Panasports on the rear with some 195 Nitto 445's I think.

Somehow managed a .006 RT, with a 2.3 60' spinning through 1st and 2nd and ended up with a 9.96 at 70mph...

No, that most certainly isn't a 12 second run. It's more like a 13.7 13.8 range. It'll probably be a high 12 second car when it's all finished. Not saying much except it'll be built for open track, not drag.

The time/mph are in the sig.
Runs where on 15" street radial rubber.
60" flat sucked, all where 2.0 and higher
I'm sure once I get it lined out it will pick up a few mph and slicks will drop the times a lot
