OK, you all know the story by now... I'm already stealing the 13B. And, after reading the DCSFLJLHSDGOIJ threads, I'm taking the coil. How about the radiator? Is the FC radiator better? Remember, I won't be needing any of that stuff on the FC, due to the LS1 swap. I'm not swapping the seats, because they have automatic seatbelts, and they aren't in nice enough condition. What else can I take? Should the tranny come too?

Aside from the engine and tranny I can't think of anything that is beneficial to swap over without major modifications. Definately take the oil cooler though since you've got one of the 'beehive' equipped cars.

I took the shifter out of mine cause I liked it better. . . . . .

Since you are going to be using the front subframe I guess you can't take that.

You have to fit it in at an angle. It is too tall, but cools better.

are you gonna make the mounts and everything yourself? I didnt think there was an ls1 swap kit for FB's yet, or are you putting the ls1 in your FC?

If you are switching the engine, switch the cooling also, water and oil, to match the engine. The FC rad takes some fabbing, but you can do it.

Use the whole cpu and injectors from it, Utilizing the ignition and the intake setup. Also you can use the fuse box.

Definitely do the radiator if you are up to some creative fab work for mounting it (which I don't believe should be a problem for you). They cool MUCH better than the stock one, and chances are it is aluminum which means it is quite a bit lighter than the one you currently have.

13B from FB goes to the FB... FC gets the LS1/T56.

I don't really want to do that, I want to go with a carb. Just seems easier.

Cut off the hoodscoop and then fiberglass it onto your FB hood.

Then just get a lightweight fiberglass hood without a scoop for your FC

My FC isn't a T2. And, I would never do that anyway. Too rice.

I wouldn't bother with the rad so much. The rad in your FB is the same unit used to cool GSL-SE's equipped with 13B's so you'll be fine. Just depends on whether or not you really feel like modifying the rad supports.

how about the brakes? How about fabing up some type of braket so that you can mount them with no problem.
