So i was driving my moms Car....

i was driving my moms S13 240sx today, i think its rated at about 145hp, a little heavier than the FB, but also has LSD, PS, A/C, 4 seats, etc..

its been awhile since i've driven anything other than the RX or Supra, and this 240 just felt weak.

the Holley on my car isnt tuned right, ive yet to put in my LSD and the clutch could use replacement soon'ish. but damn, the RX7 just feels torquier and much faster which is strange since on paper the 240 is a much faster car stock to stock. i know the holley should atleast even that out.

anyways, anyone have any 1/4 mile times for the 13b / Holley setup or similar experiences? im still rather new to having this setup running and im pretty happy with it. i know there's a lot of stories about killing 5.0's, but i seriously find that hard to believe, atleast on stock port.

The difference your feeling between the 240 and the 7 is probably the torque curves of the two engines. The rotary produces nice flat torque along the power band at a relatively low rpm ('bout 3,600 or so), and that can make the car feel pretty quick (How many other engines you know of that reach max torque and keep it for 3k rpms? )
