So, can I cut into this part?
I bought two PVC 4" caps for 4" PVC pipe.
I was thinking of cutting a circular hole into this section, then JB weld and fiberglassing it sealed, to give space for the magnet on the back of a speaker so I can mount speakers in the footwells much easier than stock, with better staging.
So, my question is, how vital is this section? Can I cut into it without screwing with structural integrity?

No, it's the piece just in front of the door, underneath the fender.
I was going to buy a 4" diameter hole saw like this:

I figure I only really need to make some space about 2" deep, there's more than enough room behind the fender for that.
